Hi everyone, I was wondering if it would be ok to run a 32mm mikuni carb on a yamaha tri-moto 125. I think the stock carb size is 20mm but i am not sure. I don't have the stock carb, but i had a 32mm carb lying around so I thought I wondering should make use of it. The motor on the tri-moto 125 has also had some top end modifications but i am not sure what they are. The point I am trying to get to is will the jetting of the carb work with the top end modifications?

no, it will be WAY to rich and probably not even work fitment wise anyway.

would i still run rich if i put the carb setting to really lean?
Thanks for your help. I will have to find a smaller carb.

You could run the 32 if you wanted to but you would need to jet down, get an aftermarket pipe, and modify the motor for the extra gas/air flow coming in. What goes in, must come out right.
