the second person to land the double backflip (his name escapes me and i watched it 2 hours ago :rolleyes: ) anyone see when he crashed, the guy started to run over to him, then turned to the dirt bike to try and turn it off, they tried tackiling it and picking it up to no avail, finnaly a rocket scientist hit the kill switch (or pulled the plug wire)

on the second link it shows him landing that huge 720, and then the major slam. If you listen to the anouncer's, there going oh, oh God, and whatever. The kid is laying there lifeless and the one anouncer says, "wow, I cant believe he landed that 720" :crazy:

Dude that really must of hurt his butt.. I remember one of my bad falls... Going 20 mph down a hill on my long board, got speed wobbles and ate asphalt, not cool

I was watching the super moto x-games today and they showed the clip and had the dude on the phone. Man, he walked off from that (with a little help.)

They said somthing like he broke his wrist, bruised his lung?, whip-lash, and found a cracked vertebre from a different time? I dont know but it could have been alot worse for him

Well stunts and "games" are starting to get stupid crazy lately. I will not be surprised in the near future that we hear about people dying trying these tricks. It all started with a few stunts and now its an X game? Its all about how high you can get but those who have skated before on ramps (I had a 14' half pipe in my yard back in the 80's), know that the higher you go, the less control you have over your body and board. I guess call me old school, but I think they need to bring boarding back to the roots and get away from the daredevil acts. :p
