A lot more information is needed to give a answer. Age, experiance on atv's, terrian, style of riding and so on.

I only say this because what works for one may not work for another. A lot of factors goes into figuring the correct machine for a particular person.

..and probably the biggest factor is to define the word "cheap".

Sorry Tim SR!! I forgot that one. lol
To some a $1000 quad is cheap and to others $200 is cheap.

I doubt you'll find something running for that price. Blaster would be the closest thing.

I can't agree here. I have had friends that bought blasters and the one kid even bought a lt230. The lt230 was at the shop 6 times in one year getting fixed. The blaster was in the shop once getting new tires installed. I wonder which one was more realiable?

The kid with the lt230 sold it and bought a blaster ( 8+ yearts ago ). He still rides it and he hasn't been happier.

Id say with $4-500 to spend you cannot afford to be choosy, and Id take ANYTHING I could find that ran. The odds that you will even be presented with the opportunity to choose between a Blaster and a LT230 in that price range is extremely remote.
