Need wiring diagram or help on 86 LT250R

I had am 86 lt250r dropped off this moring that will not start.What I was told happened what that the chiain came off and when it did it shut the engine off (likley from the load of being wrapped up between the front sprocket and the case). Well now its not firing. The entire wiring harness is hommade except where it comes out of the stator, where the original wires arestill in play.I found one that is not connected anywhere, a yellow/red wire. I think that this would be the wire for the lights but I am not sure. I need to know what each wire that comes from the stator does, and perhaps some numbers and how to check the stator or pick up coil and any other electrical part that could be causing my problems.

hey, check the flywheel key first, they do that a lot. go to everything 2 stroke for wiring diagrams.

yellow/red is for the lights.

blue is the pickup

black/red is the power source

black/white is the ground

all those are from the stator

i have a wiring diagram somewhere. i'll look and see if i can post it tomorrow for ya.
