Outlook Express problem????

A friend asked for a file to be emailed to him, it was too large for Verizon FIOS and I had an error sending it, (error was too large etc etc).

Each time I try to send and receive messages it tries to send it again although I stopped it before and each time now.

Do I have to call Verizon and have it removed from my server at this point or is there a way to delete and stop it permanently.

Is this message with the attachment still sitting in your outbox? If so - delete it from there - I don't think it is sitting on your ISP's server - it leaves your computer and goes to your buddy's Isp's Server - so your ISP's server is really just passing it through.

How big is the file - you may wanna try FTP or something similiar.

What kind of file is it? Image files?
