thoughts on that pit bike in pepboys?

i want to get that $1000 pit bike from pepboys as something to mess around on i wanna throw a 138cc lifan engine in it to, wats *Edited**Edited* thoughts on that bike, or wats a good size pit bike for like a grand or under. thanks

A thousand bucks is a lot to spend on a chinese bike from pep boys. I'd rather get a nice older cr80 or something.

Ive had pretty good luck with 2 RottenMX pit bikes......they get thrashed pretty hard every weekend, you just have to keep inspecting them for loose bolts, OR :postwhorejust go over the whole thing and make sure every bolt is snug before you take it out for the first time:welcome:

I have a JCL 125cc (jclusa.com) pit bike. I think that the number is an FS-208. IF you have a dealer nearby then you should be able to get one of them for under a grand. I was a dealer for them for a little while but had trouble selling them (not much demand here). I have one myself and other than making sure all the bolts stay tight I have had no trouble at all and I drive the absolute hell out of it. I actually ride it harder than I do my RMX250 lol.
