Chainsaw doesn't hang around here much if at all anymore. You might catch him on Everything2stroke.com forums or PM Billy on here and ask for Chainsaw's email addy so you can get the details you want.

Honestly if your serious about this swap you should buy the motor and get at it.

the CR Motor fit's into a TRI-Z Frame PERFECT !! all's you need to do is Motor Mount's.... the Counter Shaft align's up NICE to the Pivot Bolt for Better Strain for the Chain Adjustment ... if installed on the ATC Frame ... the Counter Shaft sits HIGH ... During Dampning on Whoop Riding the Chain gets REAL LOOSE !! you don't want that .... i was working on one in 1998 but..................... the Garage Burnt it all up !! one day i might do it again if........................
i need the 500 Power ... right now i don't .. :naughty:

I think Ronnies talking about stuffing the 500 engine in the 85/86 250r frame. hte counter sprocket could end up high if the engine mounts aren't just right.

sportbike engine...r1, zx10r, gsxr1000, cbr1000rr? worked banshees wont touch 170+ hp.

now if you want a 2 stroke you cold always do what hill climbers did back in the day (1994) some guy took a YZ490 and took another YZ490 motor and make it a YZ980....it was a heck of a motor, 2 of them join together.

if you dont want a banshee motor you can also go with a RZ350 street bike motor...but its what the banshee motor was baised off of..if not find a RZ500...motor, but it will cost ya.

I think the CR would be more then enough. If not the look into the 750 tripple twostroke H1 from Kawasaki.

Thats a lot of weight to add though and I'm sure the power to weight ratio of a CR powered Z would be a match for the stock 750.
