I wouldn't call it mint, but it is very nice indeed. Maybe it is just me, but does the frame look tweaked in the back?

I bet that this bike is hidding many bad surprises for the buyer.
Some nice hillbilly paint jobs and a garden hose cooling system
Watching from 20 feet away it looks really nice though.

I´m still kicking my ass for letting go my 87 T3..........

Have a good week

Definetly have not seen an 87 bring this kind of money. $5500 and climing! I think something is up with the bidding on this one

Judging by the seller's history, it appears alot of parts were purchased recently to make it look that way. Radiator shroud, used airbox, new fender, and a set of decals from Yamatopdog.

notice the reference to "3 wheeler world buffs". has to be a board member, or at least been on the forums. nice bike, far from worth 5500...i'd give 2000-2500.

yamatopdog is speed and sport out of pa. whats up with the way the bidders look j**7?

I don't think it deserves all the criticism, it's a damn clean bike, he even admitted to what OEM parts were not on the bike. Give credit where it is deserved, its a clean and slick bike, wd-40 and all.. If he gets well over 5500 for it don't be mad because you couldn't pay 2000 for it...

You guys know I'm not one to start trouble about someones bike but I think the attitudes of some of you is not right. Others who are respected collectors and trikers I know your stand point it's not toward yall, it's the noobs.

I'd like to see what this T3 fetches, keep it going!

Man, $5900 and 4 days left, unbelievable.

ATC-Eric

I dont know about you guys, but this auction just REEKS of shile bidding. In my opinion, nobody willing to shell that kind of cash out is going to sit there and continually drive the price up when theres still 4 days to go!

Man I hope its not to bad in person. Looks good in the pictures, but as discussed theres probably going to be a LOT of fun little suprises.

The reserve isnt met and its a $5900!

1987 T's are indeed rare..... very few pop up although Ive seen people list there 87 s as 86's but this one has the 87 changes. The 87's have

Parking Brake
Rolled edges on the wheels and silver paint powder not aluminum
The handle bars clamp covers
Different decals
Keyed Ignition
Different headlight frame to accept the Key

I have spent more than I should one some things so to each there own...I am skeptical of the bidding on this one as well. When setting a reserve it doesnt take much to have a few people bid up your item to spur interest and make something look real hot....those names will never be revealed because of ebays most recent bidder system...Not accusing but on this one any interested parties proceed with caution or unless you want to spend a mint go for it!!!!

comeon now. coincidence? bet you the auction closes before the end time. and its not that im ragging on the guys bike, it is a nice t3, i would give about 2000-2500, no more. i already got an 85 and an 86, dont need an 87, so im not missing out or jealous or anything like that.

What a joke, I sold my 86 at trikefest for 600. Guess I should have put a key switch and some new decals on it with about a case of armor all and put it on e-gay. Hell I could get out of the excavating business!

LonesomeTriZ

The seller signed up on here just to start several threads about his trike. billy cut all but one of them. This seller is obviuosly pullling some crap. Not only is the trike no where near what he claims, but the shill bidding is very obvious as well. do not take this auction seriously. I doubt the winner really "won" that trike.

Correct me if I am wrong,But doesnt he have to pay final value fees??? Or if listed in the correct catogory. He still has to pay a good amount?? Maybe I am wrong?????

I know you can get a refund if the bidder doesnt pay.But then they should have a strike against them. either way it sounds kind crappy.
