I posted this over on ATV Connection with no luck, so I'm hoping my fellow 3 wheeler riders will have some ideas.
I layed my DS over on its side (flywheel side) about 2 weeks ago. It ran for just a few seconds before I could shut it off and stand it back up. I haven't done much high speed riding since, but now when I get into the upper RPM's the red light (temp and oil pressure light) would come on and the quad would die. I've changed the oil and primed the system, and the temp isn't getting to high. I don't see any reason for this to be happening. I've read that the oil pressure sensor goes bad and is a common problem, but it seems that when they go out the light comes on at low RPM's. Mine doesn't come on until around 6000 or so.
Any insight would be greatly helpful. Thanks.
