Help with TOYOTA truck needed

im trying ti get this toyota truck running. it is a 1989 pickup. it has a 4 cilender fuel injected engine. a 22r i think. anyway it hs a hose coming out of the fuel injector block, the hose is close to the firewall (i think thats what its called ) gas squirts out of it constantly when the truck is turned on, where is this hose supposed to go? ill get pics tommarow if needed

that should be the gas return hose, it should connect to a return hose that goes all the way back to the gas tank, most fuel injuected vehicles have a light gas return, somewhere that hose connects most likely to a return hose.

should gas be flowing out of this hose all the time?

Gas should never be flowing out of the hose. LOL It should all ways be flowing back to the tank though.

ok i mean is it ok if it flows continualy through the hose and back to the tank?
