The scariest for me has to bo the Blair Witch Project.. I also like the classics like Psycho or Poltergiests.

1. I spit on your Grave or Dead Alive.
2. Hostile was nice & violent. Good stuff.

I love TROMA movies, but my favourite horrors of all time are 1) Evil dead 2)Evil dead 2 and 3) Army of darkness. Those three movies rule.

Wow, blast from the past....:lol: I didn't even think anyone else had ever seen Dead Alive, or I spit on your grave. And Melvin the mop boy ?....LOL Awesome. I agree that the original Pumpkinhead was a great movie. Not sure I would call it my Fav, but as a kid the original black and white version of Night of the living Dead terrified me. Still love that movie.

the one that really bugged me and creeped me out was candyman, I hated that the creep messed with children.
arachnophobia was stupid almost comical but when our cat ran in front of me in the dark hall way on my way to bed after watching it I about had to get peeled off the ceiling.:lol:

Gawd, I've seen every movie mentioned in this thread thus far. I gotta agree, Dead Alive was awesome with it's gratuitous gore. Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness are definitely classics, my favorite being Army of Darkness. And The Lost Boys will always be one I'll never forget, it was just cool.

"Gigi", with Ben Affleck. It isn't in the 'horror' genre, but I have had nightmares ever since I was forced to watch it by my wife.
