OK - so rather than having 2 separate spark arrestors - it's just a 2 into one spark arrestor - makes sense - just never seen one before.

Thanks Nathan!

Yes it's a spark arrestor/noise reduction type add-on.

I don't believe Toomey's silencers can be run is some areas due to the lack of a spark arrestor and higher than allowed dB levels. It looks gay, but if the alternative is not riding or buying a spare set of spark arrestors, it's a much better option.

Yes they are loud. I don't really care for Banshees but they have an incredible unique sound to them with the Tommeys. Simply sounds like a nasty chainsaw with tire spin constantly.

Never seen them here. Here in cali they dont check sound so we dont care.

In our dunes we dont need S/a's because its pure sand nothing to catch on fire.
I think its more for our buddies to the north. Oregon dunes are anal about that stuff.

IMO toomies sound like s*** and the power comming out of toomies is on the poor side too.

its for the green sticker.

Here in cali Green stickers are all determinded by year/make/model. If your bike has a red sticker there is no aftermarket product that can make it a green sticker. and visa versa

Seems like the pipes of choice for 'fast' banshees in now the cpi system. Never really seen to many in the past. But this year they were all over at the sand drags. The big motor guys seem to all run them. Both in and out of frame!! Had a buddy that had a banshee with 2 into 1 back in the day and it sounded like a indy car. One of the sweetest sounds iv'e ever heard. His was basically a stocker, but it did run good. It was also pretty quiet, like the noise was cancelled out. But i guess with the "big" stuff they don't work.
