Here's my daily driver, it's a 93 F 250 with a 7.3 turbo diesel, 5 speed, 4" lift, 35" BFG all terrains and 4.10 gears. Over the winter or in the spring it's getting a Dana 60 front axle, 6" lift and a set of 36" swampers.

Nice trucks guys! That z71 is nice!!! This is my 87 Blazer on 3" lift with 37's MTRs, shes a good truck for cruisin the fields and mud around the farm, or trailering to the local mud bugs. While I love a good lifted truck, I've always been more of a fan of just enough lift to allow some flex and steer completely but with the look of big fat tires stuffed into the wheel wells. Since these pictures I've used a plasma cutter to trim the fenders, now there is now rubbing. She likes the mud!:p

hey thanks guys!!! I love the K-5 Blazers as well, you can carry all your stuff inside, take the back off to do work, and they have a shorter wheel base which combined with the solid axle makes a great turning radius for a good plow truck.

swigin, thats a nice truck you got there, what are you runnin for motor/tranny/gearing and all that? My buddy has a 72 Chevy C10 that he stuffed what I think is a Detroit 353T into and he has a set of Hoosiers on the back, he usually takes that to the burn out contests and does pretty good with it. Anyways, cool pic and nice truck!

thanks man

i replaced the original 400 small block with a 460 that i rebuilt a few years ago....flattop pistons, comp 4x4 extrem cam, ported d3 heads, roller rockers, early timming set(later timming sets have a 8 degree retard) 850cfm holley, L&L headers with duel 3 inch pipes with flowmaster super 40 mufflers

its got 425hp and 500 tq

c-6 tranny with shift fit and some other mods backed up with a 205 t case

im still running the stock 3.50 gears since i got plenty of motor to pull those gears and still get 11mpg on the highway with the big block

This is my wife's daily driver; a '04 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 2.5" lift running 32s. When I migrated to 3wheelers a couple years ago, she stayed in the off road crowd. It's really cool to watch her drive her Jeep off road. Most people underestimate it's capabilities. It is very stout. Right now it's limiting factor is lift, I gotta get the body up off the rocks so it doesn't high center too much.

This picture is from our Jeep clubs big annual event, Megarun. She's beginning her run on the rock garden.

This is my 1994 Toy. 33" BFG AT's with a 3" body and 2" blocks/cranked torsions. It's an extra cab and I could have got 35's in there but I'm not gonna fork out 1000$ to change the gears. I'd like to buy a V6 Tacoma in the next year or so with a better body.

I had a 1979 GMC with 38" Swampers on there and a 69 large journal 327. I LOVED that truck but at 6mpg's and the gas prices I dumped it.

Where is that at? I've never seen any trails around OKC. Is this out by the Stillwater/Perry area? That's the only place I know that has big rocks like that.

Evand, that's a sweet TD! 1980? I'm guessing it is because of the flat hood. I think I remember seeing some of your pics over on RCC. I love the 72-80 Ds, Ws, RCs, and TDs. They are by-far the most indestructible trucks out there. Put a Dodge in your garage!

I don't have a lifted truck, even though my Cummins Ram 4X4 sits pretty high from the factory, but I plan on swapping a 12V Cummins into a 72-80 Crew Cab and lifting it at least six inches with a two inch body lift and putting it on 35s. It should look something like the truck below, but with two extra doors and green-n-white. Of course, it will look like the second pic more than a few times, too.

this is the 1977 Dodge Ramcharger i almost bought for $1800 this summer. recently rebuilt 318 and tranny, 6 inches of lift, 35in Mastercraft A/T tires.....

141166141167

the truck my cousin bought for $4000, then sold later for $6500. 1ft of total lift, mostly crappy body lift. '60s model chevy body on an '89 3/4 ton chassis. i forget the tire size. late model fuel-injected 350 w/ 5spd

P.S. the Ramcharger is still for sale if anyones interested. i can probly hook you up! the thing runs awesome, but rides rough cause of the springs. its mostly just a toy. comes with top

I don't have this truck anymore (I have a stock 01 Ram now), but it was a cool little truck in the nearly 5 years I owned it.

Some Duddly Doright will probably blast you for going back 6 years in time, but it’s worth it to see the pretty rides again.

I guess my recently installed 2” leveling kit shim doesn’t qualify mine

Personally I think it’s the rims that really make a vehical stand out.

It's funny.......this thread was started about 10 years ago......long before the "Adventure Rig" craze was around.

Adventure setups are cool but not as cool as old school cool

True dat, I love the old Fords, but a tall 4X4 82 Chevy with the signal
lights in the front bumper makes my heart flutter.

A buddy back home has a 4X4 Apache with a lift and an LT1 in it, dark green. He’s not in good heath and I don’t know who gets his stuff when he’s done with it. I tried to politely ask if he was thinking of selling it last year. Got the impression he’d rather be buried in it than let it go while he’s breathing. Can’t say I blame him.
