lift kit question

Im thinking of buying an 88 4 trax 300 and am having trouble finding a lift kit for it. Can anyone help?

I'm pretty sure Moose has one to fit your machine. Check DennisKirk. I believe the TRX300's have remained unchanged in the 10 or so years they've been made. I'd check first though.

Word of advice, a lift kit on a 300 isn't really worth it, unless you're making a custom 10 inch or so. I put a "2 inch" lift on my Big Bear and it's not really that noticeable, the front rack sits a little higher than stock but that's it. The 27" tires I put on it probably made just as much difference in lift. Also, that 2 inch lift will produce a lot more wear and tear on your CV boots, and on a machine from 1988, they're probably already cracked to hell and back.
