Ok the guy actually owed me $100 and I gave him $400 and cancelled his debit so I suppose its actually $500 is what I have invested. Still not bad for a 1988 250 QuadRacer though. It does need some work but the engine is building around 170-175 psi compression, it starts and runs well and has a brand new 38 Keihen Air Stryker carb that was used on one ride. That and the throttle cable cost the guy 313.64 (I know I sold it to him). Like I say I know it needs some work but I still think that I made out on the deal. What does everyone think about it?

I really like the looks of the old Suzuki quads (Quadzilla and Quadracer). I've always wondered how it would drive.

If it runs, 400 bucks is great!

Nice score. One of my favorite quads of all time.I had a 92 for a minute, but we had to sell her.But it went to a good home.

The bike runs great and as far as the overall handling I am most impressed with it. The older ATV's all seem to have a lower stance to them than all the newer machines of today, perhaps thats why it feels like it does.

now that i have had it for a little while i am very impressed with the machine. It is a fun bike to ride with plenty of power and great handling IMO.

I have heard stories like that about the 500 but never much on the 250. I am sure there are some things that will give problems on it but so far everything has been fine other than it needs a chain, rear shock and a front brake master cyclinder.

I had one of the dreaded 500's even though I was young, (13) and all I knew it had was better reeds a fmf pipe and suposadly jetted correctly (it ran sweet!) I never had a single problem with it, I beat that thing from here to hell and back and never missed a beat, I sold it, the boy who had it got scared of it sold it again and then it dissapeared, to bad it was a awesome machine! yours looks good Lomax!! sweat score!
