At least he mentioned he feels it's mint, but admits to blemishes... Personally I think it looks pretty darn clean and worth the money for all the stuff it has on it.. Original parts! Don't bash on it.

I would caution anyone from buying it .... and for the price that it's at your going to feel it once you get it home and find out it's a total hack job done.

Also notice the Frame is Spray Can along with the Motor ...

you can see in one picture overspray on the model sticker and on the lower tripple tree were he did not tape it off good . and in the same pic you can see how the front fender is just barely hanging on ,it's missing bolts and hardware.LOL

and the bolt ripped through the air scoop in one pic.

and the painted over rusty stock pipe.

Well, I feel theres nothing wrong with this auction. HE just has a different definition of mint then the rest of us in the Trike community. He feels its in good shape, which it is, so he threw out a term that he wants.

as far as the price, you guys are talkin like we are the only ones who can see the pictures. If those guys are willing to throw down a $2000 bid on that bike, you can bet your but they are studying the hell out of those pics too.


Its worth as much as the bidders are willing to pay.

on the contrary I dont beleive its spray painted, by looking at the finish on the motor and pipe, I beleive it has a generous helping of some armour all sprayed on it.

can't believe nobody spotted the entire rear end/axle is from an 86 !!! I emailed the guy to give him a heads up and he said maybe it was a late model 85....lol the build date is 11/84.

ill agree with most that its not mint but it is a nice trike and nicer then 80% of what we see today .even if it is spaybombed and soaked down with wd40 not worth 2 grand to me but its still nice

I actually can relate to this guy for being irritated about your email. Some arsehole emailed me and said and I quote: "I'll give you 500 bucks for that piece of junk if you deliver it to my house in Denver" He was talking about my YZ that I just posted up. I replied that I 'll come to denver allright, but I won't be bringing the bike. I just hope it wasn't one of you guys, cause that is bulls**t!

you guys know whats really funny? your bitching about a machine that costs possibly up to 3000 dollars, but in retrospect I ve seen people put down 5 or more on quads that are 2-3 years old that are in worse shape, give this 10mmore years and you guys will be chompin at the bits to get this! quit being cheap basdards, and like any of us can say ANYTHING about spraybombing except maybe vintage and oc....lol

well i decided to go take a look at this r seeing is how its so close by to me, less then 40 minutes. it is a nice looking r, sounded awesome, and to be honest, it is in my own opinion well worth the 2495 he's asking. mint, no, but it is in beautiful shape. thing has been in the want ad digest around here for well over a year. the guy was a nice guy as well, not trying to pull any wool over anyones eyes. you dont like it, dont look at it, you think he's asking to much, then dont buy it, someone will eventually. if i had the extra cash i would snag it up but unfortunately i have enough on my hands as it is.
