i bought a 89 yamaha warrior, its in real nice condition for its age. It needs top end work. i was wondering if i should, bore next size, or go extream and put a 440 kit. But if i do the 440 kit i have to prolly change exhaust, and intake?

You don't "have" to, but since you're spending money, you might as well buy another 200 dollar exhaust to actually let the 440 kit flow like it should.
