I got the Black & Decker, 18v wich Dewalt makes, and its the best buy I ever made as far as tools go.

The saws are only good if you use them a lot. If the batteries sit they dont hold a charge long. But if you use a lot, they are GREAT. I have had the 14.4 and 18v black & Decker kits and my dad has the McKita 18v. To me, brand dont matter. They all work the same.

I have the combo kit also along with some other dewalt tools. They are great, never had any problems, had them for over a year. The circular saw is awesome. To look at it you wouldnt think so, but it actually last awhile, and its actually pretty fast.

My boss has the same kit..The only thing wrong with those dewalts, is the hot/cold battery pack charge delay light always comes on it you are working it hard before you want to charge..The cordless circular saw and jigsaw are worth the money on their own, so many uses. Overall I think its a great kit, worth the money for sure.

The XRP is a very nice kit.

My kit is awesome, it's the RIDGID 24V Lithium Ion and I use it every single day. It has so much more sack than my 18V kit had and is 7% lighter than 18V too. The batteries have 100% power until the last second and a button to push to check the battery life.

I install commercial AC and beat the snot out of this kit, it has been very good to me. I got it on EBAY unopened for 310$, it's almost 500$ at HD.

18V is fine for the occasional user and I like the Dewalts.
