Thats the same one that I found last spring. Also the guy from S.D. was posting about going to look at it. Its only 85 miles from me. If someone wants it more than me, I will help them with picking it up and holding it for them. HA HA. No seriously, I will be willing to help. I would like to have it, but Im not gonna drop big bank.

wow thats pretty nice. I never noticed it before but thoes tiger axles sure look weak to me being all flat. All other trikes Ive seen mostly taper off from a fatter middle section

They dont really have to be very strong, the tigers were designed to be flat trackers.

Yea they weren't made as an MX bike at all, sole flat running lines.. Boy does that thing look clean though!

Nice Tiger but lousy pics. Was the Rotax completly rebuilt? Damn, must have cost her a fortune if it was!! Seller doesn't list many details about it, Why? Paint looks new!

It sure would be nice to add to a collection but in that condition it's not a collectable. Theres alot wrong with it to be correct. Go for it bro. Did you check it out and ride it?

I think if it was up to par with collector status you would be in a bidding with Blue or OC.

I don't need anymore Tigers bro. How bout you?? BTW For a collection/collector a unmolested, original Tiger is worth the most. Know anyone who has a couple? Restoring one depreciates the value unless its a wreck. Then you have no choice I guess.

I'm not a Tiger fan but I think it's a nice machine. Doesn't look too bad to me, where the hell are ya supposed to buy a fiberglass rear fender anyhow!!?? This is 2007, there aren't allot of these that are gonna pop up, so if it's something you've always wanted I'd bid on it.

The engine is NOT rebuilt, he states information about the motor in his auction.

I honestly never knew a Tiger was built primarily for a flat track until recently, which makes it even less desirable to me - but thats just me....

If you want a Tiger, there it is. And it's "COMPLETLY REBUILT" as stated in the auction. You can't go wrong with that! Who cares about the "minor flaws" when it's "COMPLETLY REBUILT"!! You guys just don't get it do you?

The seller states that it's 'COMPLETLY REBUILT". What a STINKEN LIAR!!!!! I don't know about all of you but I would never buy anything from a LIAR. But maybe I'm wrong.

"BTW For a collection/collector a unmolested, original Tiger is worth the most. Know anyone who has a couple?"

I have one.

That a nice Tiger to start with, yes parts are near inpossible to find, but someday we will get rear fenders reproduced!!! If you can get it now it will only go up in value as time goes on, noyt that many for sale out there. Only reason I got both of mine is I fell on GREAT! deals.

Good Luck and Happy Bidding.

I was driving up my own bid a little much so i quit till it gets closer to being over. My wife and i sat down and went over the budget. It will be close but possible. We are building the new house and i want to put 20% down. So i cant get into that money, i have promised the wife. So we will see what happens.

I have some pics of this Tiger, Also some pics are in a thread by a member on here...del250. This is one of three Tigers that Ive seen with the funky alluminum shroud. Better watch out for the big bidder from Canada to jump in at the last minute. He has endless $$$$$.

iowarotax
10-27-2007, 07:44 AM
$3100.00, wow! I think that one in Wisconson was a better deal. I know it needed the engine put back together and some tlc. Maybe this one will get to 5 bills?

Well I am now thinking of redoing my 125 to prep for a sale....This one doesnt even have original plastics, has the carrier bolts spray painted white and still hitting over 3,000......So I will putting a whole new 125 package together new fenders with the extra frames, etc etc

88 turbo ....yes a low hour model is always the cats ass but to some a proper restore isnt worth much under that and in some cases can fetch more $$ when the restorer gos to every length possible. This does not apply to those who use the word restore loosely......some take it very seriously.
Personally I like the look of a showroom gloss on a machine full of NOS parts done right.

DAMN!!! I got the deal of a century! If this machine is going for $3,100, so far.

Problems I need help with... Honda plastic front and rear, Honda front tire, Bald rears, non-original paint scheme and a possible rare aluminum rad shroud??? It isn't that clean of a machine in my opinion.

Aluminum radiator wouldn't take 30 minutes to make.

Why would it bring big numbers? I could see big numbers for OC's! But not this one.

The seller answered another question and posted a few close up shots. He has the cylinder head on backwards. Looks like the engine was just painted with no prep. But its a running tiger. Better than mine right now. Good luck bidders!
