06 450r jetting

Just wondering what jets i should try to start out with. Its got the HRC end cap with out a baffle, and k&n filter, thought about drilling some holes in the air box lid and removing that snorkle part. Cheapest jet kit i could find was $54. Anybody know a cheaper one?

I have a 175 In my 450r 3 wheeler. It's a 02 crf engine with the same carb, bore, stroke as your 06 TRX engine. I also run a stock TRX450r exhaust pipe with the baffle out. I would start right around a 175. You might want a little more jet than I run, because mine Is stock other than a stock compression wiseco piston. My buddy has a 05 TRX 450r with a dynojet kit In It. The dynojet kit was easy to Install & uses It's own style jets. His has a 04-05 HRC cam and HRC end cap his likes a 185 main, but the DJ kit comes with a new needle. It made a big difference In the way It ran & started better.
