Hey guys my sons b-day is tommorow but the party was today and for a b-day/christmas present from me I got him a 250ex!! He loves it..lol We rode around for a bit tonight, but are going on a ride to the river tommorow to give it a work out.
He is moving up from an LT80 that i'm sure most of you have seen his race pictures from. This was to good a deal to pass up on buying so I bought it without having sold his first. I had it forsale for going on 2 months now and it finally sold today.... So i'm guessing this deal was meant to be lol.... anyways back the ex. It is an 02, that looks like it had sit outside for a little bit and had rust on the axle, front a-arms, and bumper. The engine had a stained looked to it too. It had the Big Gun exhaust already on the bike and has a KN filter in it also. The day I got it I took the front end off, bead blasted it and painted it with Imron red paint on the lowers and silver on the top a-arms. I powder coated the foot pegs a matte black as well as the brackets that hold the brake lines to the a-arms. I also took some silver spray paint and painted the axle for protection. It looks ok and will work...lol I painted the engine with it in the frame with a spray can as well and it turned out really good I think. I put an AC rear grab bar on it and the AC nerfs will be here tuesday for it, I am very happy with this bike and can't wait till the weekend after thanksgiving to see how it and my son does at the dunes. Here's some pics!!!
