I emailed him about what year it came off and whether it was new or covered and if the pan was new. I'll say "rip off" but who knows. I'll let ya know if he replies....

Ask for a photo of the bottom of the seat. If it's been recovered it will be obvious.

I emailed him.It is an 86 seat pan with a new cover on it.

If it were an original oem seat I'd say their starting price is probably close to its final value.. depending on who was bidding.. but that BIN is outta control.:eek: :crazy: you can probably find a whole trike for that price!

Yeah, gotta be a repop of the elusive 87 R seat logo. But i gotta be honist i like it! If he was smart he'd just sell seat covers for $40-50 and make some consistent money. If i had a 85-86 R that needed a cover i would give that one serious consideration.

I emailed him and he said it was an 86 seat pan and a cover he had made up - thats all. I would have valued it under 200$....

I don't know what's so awesome about the 87 seat. -shrug- I sure as heck wouldn't pay that much for a seat...
