Love it or hate it here it is  as its going on the street long & low was the only to go  theres plenty more fabricating to do including stretching the false tank which i'll probably make out of stainless sheet & its gonna be the hardest job - i want it the exact same shape as the original only longer. Although its radical when its finished you'll still be able to see thats its a Zee with a twist which is important to the final look. The grafted in cradle unbolts so I could push the lump in nice & tight. I'd appreciate your comments including the bad ones & thanks to the guys who are helping out by shipping parts for me - i'll keep updating you as i go along

What are you planning on using it for? I would think that trail riding could be tuff with all that rake.

its purely for the street hence the 2" rake, i've stretched the frame by 6" aswell. all the body panels will be Zee so the original seat needs to tie into the tank & look original. Trust me it will look sweet when finished

Man I like it

I wish I had the option to swerve a Tri-Z on the streets over here, that is without buying that $5000 machine here in St. Louis.

Looks like it's going to be wild looking when done. Nice job so far. Can't wait to see the finished product.

I love it, especially that ladder design bracing in the backbone going up to the steering neck. Should be bad ass when its done.

nice to know you guys like it, i'm staying faithful to the Tri-Z as best i can which should show later in the build. The engine is out of an SRX6 which is the same as the XT600e without the electric boot, the twin carbs fit with no probs so i'm now onto the next job looking for something to convert into an oil resevoir & battery holder. Its time to start raiding friends garages for suitable donors :D

Yep I love the 600 singles & previously spent alot of time on TTR's XR's, great bikes! We all ride or rode big 6's for years as there was nothing else about with the thumper grunt before the 4's appeared, showing me age now....
I'm collecting bearings & stuff at the moment ready for the first dry build, the remote oil tank is nearly finished & i've rebuilt the forks. I'll need a shorter rear damper to lower the back end so a day rooting around at the breakers is on the cards soon :D

any spare time i've had has been spent preping & spraying, here's where she's at after 2 days of rebuilding. I'm using the Nos bottle as a remote res for the sump oil & you can now see the forward controls. It should be finished soon so i'll try & keep updating with new pics, happy new year to all the other scientists

hi oldskool, the TT & Yz kicker in the Zee frame works - no one told me  I spent hours trying to work out a way to get the electric foot to miss the footpeg, gave up in the end & as i'll be street riding i think forwards will be more comfty :)
