I'm looking at two ATC250R's this week-end.
One is very nice, but has Maier plastic and the other one is ALL original (even tool kit).

Ballpark....what are they worth?

I just bought an 83 in okay shape, everything was there except the thumb throttle. they converted it into a twist. in a bad way, but it runs good and the rear shock was just rebuilt, new chain and sprockets. The plastic is okay, i may replace down the road. but i paid 700.00 for the bike. I feel like I got a fair deal.

Depending on the condition of them $1400-$2600. When you say one is original ,is that "like new" original or "all old worn out parts" original. If it is "all wore out Parts original then it would be at the lower end of the price range. If it is "Like New" original then it would be worth more. I paid $1600 for my '85 and it was "wore out" original. I did a complete frame up rebuild on mine and now have receits over $6000. Look at Cycle Trader.Com to see different bikes and the condition and prices around the country.

Mines an 83, it had a funky throttle setup, I changed it out for a motion pro setup and it works great, fast bike, I think I like it better than my 84 Tecate. The bike is totally stock, in okay shape, rear bearings a little loose but not bad. Nice bike really for the age.
