Here is a copy of the 2008 MPCC series races.

@ the FLORIDA MOTOPLEX in Madison Fl.

All races will be aprox 2 hours long, no transponder necessary.

Full rules and requirements will be posted on the motoplex website www.floridamotoplex.com shortly.

This is a 8 race series, trophies are awarded each month to the winners. Points will be tallied in a league format. We are using the best results of 6 races to determine the league champions. Trophies for the league champions will be awarded at an end of year banquet.

any one else going to race? this isnt a flat track event, no special tires or lowering your rag for this race, basically its a race, but a fun race, you dont have to make some crazy effort to even win there. COme on guys!! quite being a bunch of pansies!!

this is not a sanctioned event, mearly a race put on by the ride park the motoplex, so as far as Ive heard no tethers, but as much safety gear as possible, so a helmet goggles gloves and at least work boots if you dont have any riding boot, no sneakers cuz that would be just plain stupid, chest protector if you got it, Ive already loaned out my other 2 protectors

ocala theres the thunderbowl speedway, flat track and TT and thats it..... hardrock is next door and if your flamilair to the huevos 9 movie its on there, but no trikes there, sadly thats about it man

I called Hard Rock today, thats one of the place we are going to. The lady had to call the owner to find out if they allow trikes or not. She told me she hasn't seen a trike in a long time on a mx track and the owner said no, he didn't think anybody still rode them.

yea the whole place!!! but mainly that day is all about the race, as classes are individually run and not all grouped together, so the next day would be a good riding day, free camping, hot showers, etc etc...

Rear shock is leaking pretty bad so nothing to crazy with the jumps.. Don't have the money to get it rebuilt for this but after I will. As of right now I'm still going :)

My '85 Big Red doesn't have any brakes, rear shock is shot, but bet your azzes I'll be there! I prolly won't ride hard though....better take care of the masterpiece!;)

just get there as early as you can saturday morning, you at least need helmet/googles/gloves and just ware some work boots if you dont have any ridign boots. Like I said before this is "fun" race! if you want to make it serious pump it up for next time!!

OK guys I'm about 99% sure I'm in. I've been working on the 500R flat tracker a lot but tomorrow I'll probably be switchin gears and start buttoning up the ole 86 for this weekend. I'm gonna throw some 22inch tires on, do a little carb adjustments, maybe put the ole 4 gallon IMS gas tank back on cause 30 miles is a long way to go on a stock size tank especially if you are hammering (and we will be believe me haha)

Bad News guys.. After calculating numbers and such I think it's best that I sit this one out :( I'm pissed!! As much as I want to be able to ride I know that I shouldn't go and blow the money but hold off. Between the time I can get my shock rebuilt like I wanted and have a new swing arm that I am having done by Ronnie here and all that good stuff.

Right now I have to devote my time and money into my business which is Real Estate and Mortgaging. Amount that I go to school full time to try and finish up my degree. I'll just let this be a "warm up" for you guys until the next race haha

Now Billy and Alan, I hear Thunderbowl has a new course done for the TT racing, heard it's wicked! That's a close drive for me so maybe I may check that out. They are having a big race Feb 2nd

awesome race guys! we showed everyone that trikes still can go! I got the holeshot and led for about 1/4 of the first lap (13.8 miles each lap) then I stalled it not paying any attention, got going again started passing everyone again then me and Big Red Tide were dicing in the trails (its hard as hell to pass a big red on a one way trail!, well things got silly and I think in the confusion I somehow nocked my seat latch bar off! so my seat cam undone along with the rear plastic, not wanting to mess the machine up I limped it back to the race stand and hung out for the rest of the race. it was a great time! and I wish I coul dhave kept going but techinicaly now im on a borrowed machine! lol! any way here are some pics!!! sorry there would have been more but I left my memory card for my cam at home <---duuuurrr......

oh and the trikes had the biggest class out there!! we had 5 riders!! apparently the little bit of rain scared away more then 100 competitors!! what a bunch of wimps!

im tapppin out guys, no machine, no money, I have a few other things going on, looks like I may not race at all this year, since my dad passed away last year Ive had a dreaded ballon payment looming on the horizon, it needs to get taken care of, so thats where im at.
