ok i didnt know where to put this but here i go.

if i were to but a pair of very dirty oem 450R rims can they be brought back to a shine ? also how much would you pay for a pair of very dirty, minor scuffed and minor dinged wheels ? the guy wants 50.00 plus 13.00 shipping. is that worth it ?

i would buy something better (like baja rims  ) but i dont have the money rite now. but on other hand i dont want rims i cant use or look like crap and cant be cleaned up.

I think if you take a fine sandpaper, sand all the scratches out and then hit it with a PowerBall polisher or something, it would look just fine.

63$ is too much for rims that need work.... You could spend a couple hours working them back to a nice look.

I got a set for 45$ shipped off a 450R and they were in nice shape.

the powerball works good on chrome but when i used the mothers polish on aluminum it didn't do much of anything. I used Wenol (metal polish) with the power ball and had an instant shine :D

Thats odd? I took mothers polish to my muffler and it made it nearly chrome. I also just used it tonight to polish my left side case on my 200x and it always works perfectly. The little dremel buffing wheel and some polish go a long way.

And if you dont care about the shiny look you can get the ITP steel rims for $19.00 a piece. There very strong and work fine for trail riding.

It cost me 19.00 for 8x8.5'' rims for my 200x.
