Well it smokes like a freight train ,needs rebuilt ,era white bro's exhaust that needs to welded back togther,I need to get another frame so I can cut off and weld on to this one the rear fender mount,Gas cap has male threads its real trick its billit aluminum lol stripped threads on cap and tank so I need a new 76 tt gas tank very rare and very $$$$ ,the swing arm is off a newer model a little bit lighter it needs bearings ,carb is shot,I have also lost spark but havent tested coil yet, runs on points and condenser a real pain in the arse .bought off e-gay fer 600.00 and got ripped off ,got out bid on a 76 TT 500 that was mint on friday ,this is basicly a good parts bike but when i had it running it was awsome mega tourque also couldent get much traction as it was previously rebuilt so if i ever tear into it i have to figure out what it was bored to and figure out what cam was put in .

It is a fun bike ,a little on the heavy side ,dont know when ill ever get to it im working on a 84 ytm 200 EL for my father in law,got a 85 350 X that needs attention, and the 83 200 x constantly needs attention,Im thinking about just buying a 250sx or later model big red for father in law so i can quit working on the ytm its junk ,as far as 350 x and the ole TT thinking of buying one of each and using what i got for parts. other than that I love the old TTsand XTs tourque monsters just roll the throttle and the front end stands right up .

I remember those beasts well. Back in the day, they were the best hillclimber you could find. Probably still are!

yea back in the day i wanted one but could never afford it now ive got it and dont have time to fix it up ,they still use these and the XTs for flat tracking of course they use different frames w/different rakes etc...
but they are still winners run up against rotax powered bikes and win I know a guy that lives not far from where i work hes got a few of these things wont come off any of them especially the motors but stock frames etc.. I can get from him.

Ahh, the ol' TTs!

I guess I should dig my 78 DT 175 out of the barn and get a pic of it.
