I just got back a while ago. I was near Smith Mountain Lake in a field behind a local gas station. The track was just redneck-made but was tacky enough for perfect traction.

Anyways...I went with my dad and my friend who are both obsessed with old tractors. The years were anywhere from 1931 to 1959. There were classes from 2,500lbs. to 9,000lbs. I'll try to name all the tractors I saw...Farmall super M, super C, about 10 different John Deere's, and a couple of IH's and Case's which were in the 9K class. Most of them were running on KM2 and 110 octane (which you could buy from the pump right next to the diesel) although some were stock. The parking field was pretty darn wet so some of the bigger tractors got a work-out towing trucks out. (Most were sunk to their axles) Well...the day was pretty exiting and tiring. And tomorrow, my friend and I are riding so I better get some rest.
