CHEAP 200x WEST COAST swinger (on bike still)

it's not mine, i just saw it a few days ago. I was going to bid on it but i have some unexpected expenses so i figured i'd share it with everyone. i dont think the guy has ANY idea what he has. it's got a nice axle on it too.

That guy definitely didn't know what he had! Sold for $510!
That axle and swinger have got to be worth more than half that.
Look at the rear fenders too, anyone know what kind they are? Look like a mix between 250R and 200X styles.
Had to be an ex-racer.

Thats only the second set I've ever seen, so I'm guessing they're pretty hard to find?

its a 84 not a 85...unless it just has a 84 front end and gas tank

I know only thing 85 is the seat , really dont care what year it is , I'm more looking for a few of the parts from it.

I have 3 200x 'es in garage now all projects so some parts will be going. But that swinger i would like to keep. but tomarrow I'll take a better look at it and know for shure what i will do with it ........ well maybe I'll know lol

Well got it home did a quick look ( waiting for garage to heat up) axle is pluss 4 swinger is pluss 2 i think. has a fox shock , fiber glass rear fenders , I think that grab bar is home made but is nice . Mint 85 seat , good front brake with steal braided line , no rear brakes , jury is out on front fender , ugly modded air box with K&N and a sparks sticker , case damage by chain , good tank with a dent ,and the wrong kind of bars. I think its a keeper

It looks like this is my lucky week. Last night i got a deal on a 85 250r. So I will be listing the parts in the class section in the next couple days. (the 200x stuff). I want to spend my energy and money on the r so the x stuff will go!!!
