it almost looks as if the chain adjuster on the right hand side is farther back than the left side.

that doesnt look like an 84 motor. looks kinda like a 86/87. but i cant really tell. looks like an ok x to me. who cares if one side is adjusted different than the other. its a 10 min. fix. but yea 1500.00 is a good chunk of change.

its not an 86/87 engine, looks nothing like it really. But im pretty sure its from the PITA chain adjusters. My friends looked like that too when he bought it.
