My guess would be an aftermaket tank cover too, you can see the cut out section in it,, looks like it was meant to slip over the frame???

That's what i thought. It looks like a scooter front fender ?? Some one bought the oem part then swaped it out the bag and took it back to the store for a refund :naughty: :twisted:
Dumb assistant probably dosent know what a 1985 fender looks like !!
