I live in Willow, AK and we have a 1977 Bombardier (Skidoo) T'nt 440, a few Coleman Skiroules - 1 440 and 2-3 wankel 340s, a JCPenny Snotamer, and my brother has a few Sno Trics and Fox tracs. My main sled is a 1992 Polaris Indy 500 EFI SKS, which by todays standards is basicly vintage.

I wish I could score a Deere for 30$!!!

Good score. I'm into the vintage sleds pretty big, got about 9 now. If you want a good forum go over to vintagesleds.com in the bull sessions.

Good deal man, I love the Deere sleds. Between me, my brother and my dad we have a 1972 JD 400, 73 JD 400, 74 JDX4 Special, 74 JDX8, 76 Liquifire 340, 77 Liquifire 440, 79 JD Trailfire 440, so yeah we like em too haha.

Also have a Rupp Nitro 440, 73? Ski Doo Elan, 71 Ski Doo Nordic 371, 81 Yamaha SRV 540 which I'm riding now, 85 Yamaha SS 440, and 340 Enticer.

Post up some pics if you have any. Oh are you sure its a 1979, I'm not positive but I dont think there were any Liquifires made in 79, I know they started the new style in 80 but from what I've seen 78 was the last year for that style. Either way good deal!

Hey definitly man no problem, post pics whatever you can. If it is black and silver with side vents it is a 76 or 77, in 78 they had a black with a curving red green and yellow stripe along the side, both of these types of LF said either 340 or 440 in yellow letters on the hood. From 80-84 they were all black hood and more styled, check out the pics.

78 Cross Country, rare factory race sled only 178 made, very hard to find

Liquidator, similar to a liquifire but made in limited numbers as a factory race sled for cross country racing like the 78CC, if you have either of these sleds hold on to them
