View Full Version : Can anyone ID this old snowmachine? --NEW PICS!!!

Its a Mercury, has a twin cylinder air cooled 398cc motor, says 30hp on the side. Decals on the cowling are red, the cowling itself is black or dark green. I cant see any ID tags or stickers right off, so can anyone tell me what I picked up??

Sorry about the dark pic, Ill get some better ones once the camera charges.

get some engine numbers but it could be a artic cat. looks kinda like one to me. but the 398 is a kawasaki motor i believe. is there a exact displacement on it anywhere ?

This is the biggest problem I see to fix right now, I dont think itll take much more then time though.

All I need is a set of sparkplug caps and I can see if she runs. (Supposedly it does already but the steering is messed up)

:lol: That's one high performance exhaust system on there, bud. I heard bolting on a Subaru muffler instead of the stock pipe gives you ENORMOUS power gains in the top end. :drool:

like the custom flex pipe and backwards throttle, The seats so you dont have to reach back to grab the 6 pack ahahahah
