thanks!

today went about how i expected. i did some midnight switching of the carb from stock to a 400ex, and dumped out the pump gas for some fresh VP C12. talk about a HUGE impovement! any hew i ended up beating a built 400ex and a built craptor in the pro am class. she just wont hold a candle to the big dogs in the other.

im going to see if i can drop down a class in one tomorrow.

ice racing is flat right???

Put your bike on a stand, take off your fork caps, and pull out your small 3" springs, on both forks. Now on the rear take your shock and back off the spring as much as you can. Now you have a SLAMED 350x should help out alot.

yep ice, nice set up! i didnt know about the fork spring trick, i just lowered them in the trees. the rear shock is FT only with the bottom spring clip welded so i can lower as much as it will go and not worry about the shock coming apart.

the races were canceled today, we are under a dense fog advisory. i did, however, find out that the 400 ex that i beat yesterday was a 440 baldwin motor. :D

Damn, I need to move back to Indiana. It seems no one races flat track around here. I guess they are all too yellow to try it.:wondering

I got a big old lake that I ride my bike out on to go ice fishing right at the end of my street. Thats about and 1/4 mile away. Maybe I should start some ice racing there and invite you all to join. These pics dont show the whole thing. This is from the back corner.
