84 honda trx 200 help plz

im thinking about buying this trx 200 but the guy said that its stuck in low range anyone know what the problem would be ?

Might have a broken tumbler in the sub tranny shifter. I have a bottom end with a good one.

ok i was talking to the guy again and he said its not stuck in low he said it goes into hi but it feels like its slips if he punches it but works fine in low anyone got any ideas?

Yep, I'm 99% sure the clutch is going bad. Not too hard of a fix.
