85-86/87 transmition coversion

Ive got a 1985 200x and I wanted to know it I could get a 86/87 transmition and put that one on instead. (Third gear is stripped on mine and I would really like the 6th gear anyways) thanks

Nope, you can't do it, 83-85 and 86-87 200x's are completely different in all ways except maybe the front tire, brake pads, chain, and a few nuts and bolts.
