well i need to know how to do it, i just sandblasted my side engine cases and i want to polish them along with my forks and triple tee, so how do i go about doing it, thanks a bunch, tim.

Eastwood has some stuff that works good on raw stuff.

Lots, and LOTS of sanding first to get the material to a smooth surface, and then you polish. I start with 150 if needed to get rough surfaces down, then 220, 400, 600, and then finish with 1500 before even beginning to think about polishing. I don't recall the exact numbers of the grit, but something close to this.

with a buffing wheel from eastwood on a bench grinder you can stop at 400 grit
