i'm off work nextweek so i will have her running within days :D fuel, electrics & controls. after getting ripped off on Ebay it dawned on me that the Z vac pump would not work on this motor anyway, there would be a constant draw from the inlet & no pulse for the pump so i'm back to using the CBR 6 electric jobbie. All the electrics work & are ready for tidying, the forward foot controls work well in situ, i'll add picks of them & extended cables 2moro.
I only need to fit the coil when it arrives.. header pipes, fuel & oil then we're away. I'm going to literally have to kick the crap out of it to get going, been a while since i kicked over a big 6.

Can't wait to see the final product.
Is the blue tank a oil reservoir? If so, can you explain me how it's work. I never understood how it work.

Alex, point taken but personally i don't like trawling through tons of pages, i''ll add more pics to this, then do a final Part 4.

250RFreak, have a look a parts 1 & 2 where you can see how i built the frame up.

Yamada, most 4 stroke engines store the oil in the sump & simply draw it up into the rest of the engine & back down. This engine is known as a 'dry sump', the Noz bottle stores the oil & it is drawn around the engine & back into bottle, when the engine is not running the oil remains in the bottle.
