While me and my nieghbor were talking last week I happen to spout off a price that I would take for my 2004 DVX 400 (pictured below). Well, he made a phone call and transfered the money from his account to mine without even a haggle. I couldnt believe that it sold so easy since i wasnt even trying.
Being me, I couldnt go without a sport ATV so i made a phone call to a freind and i am now the proud owner of a 2003 Cannondale Cannibal LE. The machine has had all of the updated parts installed so reliablilty shouldnt be an issue. Along with that, it has been modded quite a bit, modded enough to produce just over 50hp at the rear tires on its dyno run!. I am still in the hunt for nerfs and heel gaurds but i think that i have some won on Ebay. Next will be a upgraded/wider axle and uncut front fenders.
The power is unlike anything i have ever ridden, very, very tame when you are just driving around, very trailable, as soon as you slam the trottle down you better hang on because the machine a hit to its power that demands full attention or you may wind up somewhere you dont belong. Its very comfortable to ride, seats much softer than a 450r or YFZ either one with a little more relaxed bar position so i think that all day rides will not result in a sore evening.
I also got a large amount of literature wih that machine, Service manual, EFI diagnostic manual, parts guide, even a lap top with the D&M programs so i can adjust/modify the fuel injection or determine what problems are should they arise in the EFI systems. Well, what do you think?

Oh, the DVX did not have the beadlocks on it when i sold it, the stock wheels/tires were reinstalled

Pretty sweet. I've never riden one of the cannondales, actually only ever seen one in person. And the reason your Dvx sold so quickly is because you weren't trying to sell it...lol.

Good grab Will! I always like the Cannibal's looks. Sounds like you got a good one.

Those Cannondales looked cool, like a 250R mixed with Banshee genes!

Too bad they're out of business (yeah I know ATK makes them, but I think they're not the same?)

(yeah I know ATK makes them, but I think they're not the same?)

ATK just performed all of the updates and sells the exact same machines for a couple years they were selling 03 as newer models.

CHAINSAW had a Cdale, and he is very knowledgable on them if you need some info. I rode his and it was unreal, I would have bought one and almost did but the I seen the kind of problems he was having.

Dang William- a cannondale!!!!

Nice score. Definitely not a "me too" quad- that's for sure. There are hardly any of those around here. I know you will enjoy it.

Hey Will, glad to see you finally got the Cannondale, looks great. I may just have to drive over one day and take a look at it. Can't believe you sold the Arctic Cat, when your brother told me yesterday, I thought you must have cancer and be dieing or something...then he told me you bought a Cannondale.

I met your brother and the guy I met at your shop with the red Kymco 4x4, don't know his name. They came out to the race this weekend at the Double OO Ranch. I raced the Quadracer I bought from you. Only thing I can say is that I finished the race, didn't break either myself or the Quadracer. They guys that set the track up are truely sick bastards. The woods section was tight, twisty and by the second lap, rutted and whooped out severely. Ground was wet and tore up easily with all the race traffic. The Quadracer tried it's best to beat the hell out of me, and damn near did. The front end is too stiff and the back end is too spongy. Gotta work on that. Your brother took some pics on Saturday, get him to show them to you and post em up if you can, I'd like to see them myself.

Thanks for the complements everyone. the machine is truley different and an absolute blast to ride. The suspension is still stiffer than what i care for but thats just the little details. Its defanitly a sick machine.
Chris, i will talk to my brother in a few days and try to get some pics from him that i can post up. I will try to start a new thread for it when i get them.
