I was off work yesterday afternoon really enjoying myself. My 9 year old and I were taking paddles off and checking over machines. I took one of his paddles and slid it on a shelf. Took the other one stood on the rear tire of our scrambler and set it on the shelf also. Jumped down and my foot landed on the edge of 2 peces of 3/4 plywood that are laying on the garage floor. I rolled my foot and when that happened it streteched a tenden, the bone stayed with the tenden this caused my bone to be pulled apart. The ER Dr coesn't thnk any surgery will be needed, he thinks a walking boot for a few weeks will fix it. I have to see a foot specialist Monday.
This really stinks with a brand new job and I have to wear steel toe boots to be able to work. Even worse we are having temps in the 60's this weekend and I do this stupid crap. I just might have to ride the scrambler no shifting that way and take a cruise with the kids.
