4 stroke guru's - please help

i've got my 600 project running well on choke but once the chokes off she runs rough & backfires - alot. She also revs up fine, the trouble starts when the throttle is released? I think its the carb thats playing up but thought you guys may know whats causing it. thanks Dee

obviously a lean condition... I would check for plugged up jets

did you use a carb sync tool?? when doing mulitipul carbs you really need to have them synced up correctly or all kinds odd syptoms will come about.

so you reckon the backfiring is cause its running lean - i'll whip it back off 2moro & pull it to bits, again...
