Well I got my second speeding ticket today, and the part that sucks is I'm still on my intermediate liscense. Last spring when I was 16 I got a ticket for 35 in a 25, and this morning I got another one for 65 in a 55. I'm guessing states differ alot but does anybody know what the likely consequences are, like will I temporarily loose my liscence? Or will I still get my full liscence when I turn 18? This really sucks:(

From what I know here in MO is your liscence would most likely be post ponned.

If possible, get yourself to a Traffic Law Center, or get a lawyer. That is IF you can get away with sending a lawyer to court to make it go away.

When you get your real liscence dont mess around with points, get your tickets fixed! You wont regret it!

Slow down, wherever you're going, it'll still be there when you get there.

65 in a 55 isn't that bad man.

my first ticket was for 41 in a 30 at 3 am when I was 16, so I don't even think it was legal for me to be on the road. second ticket was 57 in a 45. third was 102 in a 70...which I don't advise, luckily the state trooper was a good ol' boy and wrote me a general speed writeup for it.

my personal favorite was getting pulled over for doing 13 in a 35 and not YIELDING AT A GREEN LIGHT...lol.

I don't think it's that big of a deal, I mean hell you're in Iowa...what the *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* are you going to hit? corn?

yea the main thing im worried about is loosing my liscence for a while, and when i'll finally get my full liscence (that and how much it will affect insurance in the future). This wouldn't be that big of a deal if I wasn't still on my intermediate liscence. I'm 17 so I should have my full liscense, but I couldnt get it when I turned 17 because of a previous speeding ticket.

Geeze. Most cops in MD don't even notice you unless your going 15 over.

In MASS you lose your license for (use to be 90days) for 3 tickets in a year.

But even one ticket with the surcharges costs you well over 1000$ in the next few years that they screw ya..... Just another way for Romney to make a buck and dig some more tunnels.

PLEASE DON'T MAKE ROMNEY PRESIDENT, YOU'LLBE SORRY IF YOU DO!!

The last time I got pulled over was for doing 31 in a 25. It was Sunday morning around 8AM. There was no traffic on the road. I think the cop was bored and wanted someone to talk to. He did not give me a ticket. He just ran my papers and let me go. My last speeding ticket was about 25 years ago.
