Very interesting read, I hope Ebay comes to their senses with the crap they have been pulling lately. I know I am looking elsewhere...

I think some other genious will come up with ebays original cheaper to use version. Ebay will be around forever but mark my words another company will come in and take their thunder away.

Wonder why they did this

How much stuff have you (or anyone) bought and sold using the old Yahoo site....

Ebay was able to get so big because the competition wasn't there at the beginning. When I started looking for trike parts typing "atc" in the ebay search brought up 6 pages, if there was a place that had the 70 pages that ebay has today I would have made that my main source.

I would love for there to be a good, comparable competitor for ebay, it's just going to take a lot for it to happen.

I understand but what I am saying was there was no reason to look anywhere else. It seems like the public is NOW starving for something different....thats when something else will happen...it will take time but it will come.

Its already started, just needs more publicity. If one of these companies would start running adds on tv and some of the main websites I think they would get alot more action now that thousands are upset with ebay.

Eh, this boycott wont even register on eBays richter scales. As was said, its going to take another auction site and time to bring eBay down.

one thing they did not tell you about is that ebay is lowering there listing fees. they are raising the final value fees some. i got a big email from ebay explaining everything.

ebay is giving free gallery photo used ot be 40 cents extra and free pictures they were 15 cents each after the 1st one.
