What is the consistency of the drag strip at Haspin? Is it loose or hard packed? What type of tires hook up best there? :wondering Thanks in advance.

hard pack with rocks stones and pebbles on top. Pretty consistent but by the end of the day it does get rough. Pro wedges work the best for me or some type of a light weight agressive knobbie with lots of ice screws.

Daddio Like billy said.Haspin has the same clay type terrain as southeren Ohio.

It is very much the same terrain as Thunder Valley, but it holds grip much longer and does not get quite as powdery.I guess that would be due to the fact that it always seems to rain the nite before the drags there.LOL
