View Full Version : Can someone ID a POS Suzuki I might drag home?

Ok I found another pile I really dont need on craigslist, but before I drop any kinda cash into a suzuki Id like to find out exactly what it is. He says its an 86 Suzuki 230 Racer LT. Has independant front suspension, and CDI is fried but before he said the harness was so Im not 100% sure whats bad there, and apparantly the motors still good, and has good tires. No plastics. I know that Quadracers were 250s, so is this a quadrunner 230? I dont know sh1t about Suzukis so what could this possibly be? Also hes asking 80$ for it, but I think Ill stick 50$ in his face if its even worth it and see if he bites.

The quad runners are more utility style, this would be a LT230 Quadsport. Well worth the $80 to make a runner for under $200 total. Pic. http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f368/BigDimo2624/quadpicture.jpg

So you think the guy has a Quadsport then? Does the Quadrunner have IFS, Im guessing since you say they are utility that they dont?

most all quads have ifs..........sports have a clutch and runners are cyntrifical ( sp)

Well I decided against getting it, I figured I have too many projects for a beater (at best) that this one was. No pics, guy didnt have a camera.
