just buy a few sizes bigger, then do a plug test to make sure its jetted good (it should be a nice cardboard brown color)

Try a 40 pilot, 152 main and one clip down on the needle. Also the best place to get jets is http://www.jetsrus.com/main_page.htm if you get the pilot you want the N424-26 series. I ordered from on a Sunday and had my jets Wednesday. Just to be safe get a 150 and a 155 main too.

OK so i went to the local honda shop and got a few different sized jets... i got a 152 and a 155... but they didnt have the pilot..... im kind of pissed off about that because i planned on going riding next week and it is going to take a week just for the part to get in... What exactly does the pilot jet do and is it that important or can i run it with just the stock pilot

The Pilot will be OK to leave stock ... the 01 400ex we had went from the 148 main to a 178 main with the LRD Pipe that was on the bike... what we did was take the black plastic cover off the side of the carb and VERY NICELY bent the tab that squirts fuel when you crack the throttle... bend it just alittle so it squirt's fuel earlier for a NICE Bottom HIT ! Raptor's wasn't nothen with our stock motor...
sorta ... :naughty:
