Searching paid off. Found this almost stock pilot here in WA for 3,000. The guy wanted 5, but some quick talking by my girl and me and he went down on the price quick. Heres the eye candy.

I know...haha a fellow friend and rider told me that he had a red odyssey for sale that was 1989 model, i went over there with my girl and just kept saying on how it has rust on the a arms and how it wasnt stock. then in my test ride, my GF was like "well its not going as fast as its supposed to... and the plastics are really scratched up" When I got off of it, he told me 3000 and no less. I wrote a check and went off... 3min later he calls and says he has a new battery and will also get a new plug and have it serviced at Honda for me, so we all went to the local shop and they made it run like brand new (977.00 in engine work alone, that he payed for!!) I felt bad for talking him down on the price, be he looked at me and just said "Its 20 years old, I would rather sell it for the price you wanted it for, than to just have it collecting dust here"

The story on it, 2 owners before me, first was a Honda mechanic, and second was his brother. The guy at Honda told me it had less than 200 hours on the piston and should last me a good long while.

How the hell did you manage to talk him down $2,000 frikin grand?

Said the axles were rusty, battery was dead, plastic fading and needed new headlight bulbs, also that the a arms had rust and the brakes needed work... plus was missing an airbox and the exhaust on it was badly put on. My GF added in how it looked when driving.

When I got back he said 3000.
