CDI- Teacate vs Kx?

Does anybody know if the CDI unit from a Kx 250 will fit the `86 Tecate:wondering

Depends on what year kx your talking about. If you do use it you will also need to use the stator and flywheel from the same year kx.

Ok..
The previous owner have replaced the hole ignition with kx parts, and now the stator is broken, but not the CDI

so if I go and order a Rickystator for "Tecate" from E-bay, it won`t work with the KX CDI that is installed on the trike!?!

Better ask them first or see if you can replace the parts that are damaged with oem.
