how good of a jetski are these things? i know a guy who has one for $700. Im almost 100% sure its like a 98-99. It has needed a new satarter for about 1 1/2 years now but its been sitting inside. He has the title, TRAILER, and i believe cover and vests. i've known him for quite some time so i know he's not going to rip me off. He just needs the money and doesnt want to mess with the starter.

Check out pwctoday.com . Parts are kinda high and used are hard to come buy for the 1100's. If it wasn't properly maintained or winterized prior to the starter failing, it'll prolly need alot more that just a starter after setting so long. All and all it sounds like a good price, but these things are expensive to maintain

Go get some pics! The 1100's are pretty dang fast and being in Indiana it prolly hasn't seen saltwater. I would remove the cover from the driveshaft coupler and try and turn the engine by hand first. And since it has set for so long you'll need to take the carbs apart and clean em real good, drain the gas, and get a new battery. You can get a starter from ebay or the guys in the Tigershark section on pwctoday for under $50. All Tigershark starters interchange.

i just was looking for pics online of 97 1100's and from what i've found i think it might be a 1000 rather than an 1100. either way i think its a good deal. i've never been huge into jetskis so i dont know what they did/didnt make and what years they made what. i do know they are a PITA to work on though. i think i might be looking at it next weekend but im not 100% sure yet.

Tigersharks are some of the easiest to work on. Is it a Monte Carlos or what model?
