One way to be is to check out the shipping on similar items. Thats what I have done.

DO NOT use UPS to ship out of the continental USA. USPS is your best bet.

When I list stuff on ebay since I am in B.C. I calculate shipping to a florida zip code and round it down and offer that as the shipping price to anywhere in the USA or Canada. You loose a couple dollars here and find a couple there and pretty much brake even.

If anyone gives you guff about the shipping being higher than actual cost tell them its a handling charge.

Where I work we ship dozens of parts each week and do it this way, overall it works pretty smooth.

Isnt there a way when setting up the auction to pick calculate shipping? So you put in the weight/demissions and stuff of the package so when someone is interested straight from the auction they can put in their addy and find out what the shipping is going to be? I think if they still do that, it is only for USPS?
